My first blog post!
weird.
Feels like I am deliberately doing English homework.
Ok, this is going to be fast and loose. If I pause for any length of time I fear that the perfectionist-OCD-pessimist pathways of my brain will cause any bit of progress to halt.
Starting a blog has been on my mind for the past six months or so. Over the summer I took a break from social media like Facebook and Instagram. In the time since I have subscribed to a few blogs and really enjoy this type of content.
Less day to day bullshit and more specifics, more information, and more value.
So, that’s what I intend to do here. Most of the content you should expect to find on this blog will be about radio control car racing. This is a hobby that I have enjoyed for over 20 years. I have learned a lot on and off the track and I want to share some of that knowledge here.
My profession is welding and fabrication. I have been around this trade since I was a little boy and have learned how to make or fix just about anything. I’m sure some details of those projects and my thought processes will wind up here.
I am always listening to music and I enjoy sharing songs and bands that I enjoy – expect to see some of that
Most Important: I wanted a place to share stories about my brother Tyler. He lost his life in a motorcycle accident in June of 2019. My Brother was a one of a kind Individual and I am excited to sort of relive those times as I share them here with you.
So that’s it. Easy.
Talk about R/C cars, some welding, whatever songs I am into at the moment and reminisce on the old times with my Brother. Sounds good.
